The Snehalayam at Manginapudi Beach is a house for the houseless – where the elderly who are lonely can spend the evenings of their lives in company with others in a secure place where they receive maximum care and attention.
The Home for the Aged, at present hosts eighteen elderly!
The house serves also a shelter home for emergencies like the terrible Tsunami that affected very badly in the area where thousands remained homeless. Snehalayam can give temporary shelter to around 100 persons.
