Rev. Dr. Shiju Xavier Poovakulam ordained a priest on 21st February 1998 was elected as the second provincial superior of the St. Joseph’s Province MC. Holder of a doctorate in Moral Theology from the Alphonsiana Academy, Rome, Fr. Xavier has been serving for several years as assistant to Father Jose Kaimlett, the Founder and was also involved in the pastoral care of some parish communities in the vicinity of Rome. As provincial Superior he is part of the board of directors of the Good Samaritan Cancer and General Hospital, Eluru.
